August is ablaze, as summer continues to reign supreme. Another thing I especially enjoy about summer, aside from the aforementioned lighting of July, is blooming of so many different kinds of flowers and hues of colour on display, waiting to be appreciated. On one particular walk, I was on my way home after having exhausted myself from a photo-taking session – and this beautiful bunch of balls happen to catch my eye.
An Un-ball-leaf-able sunset, is one I captured in a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment excitement before leaving my local park. After having done some research I discovered these are actually called Blue Thistles, and not blue balls, much to my relief. A beautiful bed of plants and flowers complements a sunset in an especially enjoyable way, in my opinion.
