October, as always, has been a big month for movies. But of all the major wide releases of the last few weeks, which has been the best? You can have your say below.
In the meantime, we can help you out. Our team have, of course, covered all of October’s major releases. Rob didn’t like Venom, but maybe you did. Rob didn’t much care for A Star Is Born either, but luckily Marc was around to defend it. Speaking of Marc, he loved First Man, and Rob was fond of it too. He even took the time out to try and explain why it wasn’t landing with general audiences in the same way it was with critics.
Morgan loved Bad Times at the El Royale and considered it to be one of the best films of the year, let alone of October. He also thought that the latest entry in the long-running Halloween franchise captured the essence of the original better than any of its other sequels have.
And then there’s Alice, who was one of the few critics to come out in support of Bohemian Rhapsody. She also very much cared for The Hate U Give, considering it important and hoping that it gets the wider release that it deserves.
