By now, you could understand why Sasha (Sivan Alyra Rose) would be frustrated and upset with her transplant ordeal. Strangely enough, Chambers Episode 7, “Trauma Bonding”, opens up with scenes of Becky’s (Lilliya Scarlett Reid) parents kneeling in the rain crying, with Becky presumably getting wheeled into the hospital – before the scene cuts, someone shouts, “we have a heartbeat!” – What does this mean for the story? This was a strange placement of dialogue. The next scene confirms that Sasha is still having bad dreams, while Ben (Tony Goldwyn) and Nancy (Uma Thurman) discuss how they want her to be comfortable in their house.

Frank turns (Marcus LaVoi) up, and in his usual manner he becomes the aggressor, but he is asked politely to leave after he offends the entire family.

Remember Riva? He confronts Sasha in Episode 7, stating that he knows that she has Becky’s heart. He tentatively asks her if Becky loved him, and Sasha confirms wryly, making me wonder if she meant it.

Frank delves into further trouble in “Trauma Bonding” after messing with the loan company – the owner turns up and begins trashing his pet shop. Frank’s love for Sasha is causing him a great deal of pain, and sooner or later he will break.

Chambers Episode 7 Trauma Bonding Recap

Yvonne (Kyanna Simone Simpson) is gravely concerned about Sasha, especially with her mother’s behavior, so confronts TJ (Griffin Powell-Arcand) about her actions, but he seems disinterested in progressing the conversation. Through conversation, Sasha and Elliot (Nicholas Galitzine) figure out that they have been sharing the same dreams, giving them the idea to reenact the night Elliot attacked Becky. They perform the same night in the house but realize that Becky is the one who attacked Elliot, in a bizarre but unexpected twist.

Nancy is doing her own digging in Episode 7, asking the school counselor for information regarding his sessions with Becky. Despite her efforts, it appears Nancy is still struggling to come to terms with her loss, but what can you expect when she has to spend most days in the company of Sasha, who is showing Becky-like behaviors.

Drugs seem to be the theme in “Trauma Bonding” as Elliot confronts his dealer, and asks why she gave Becky DMT. She originally wanted the natural ayahuasca so she can try and remember something she had forgotten. What was Becky trying to remember?

As Episode 7 draws to a close, Sasha tells Marnie (Sarah Mezzanotte) that Becky killed herself, giving some clarity to her friend. “Trauma Bonding” reveals how much Becky has taken over Sasha’s emotions and mind, as she randomly attacks Yvonne.
