This year has been a huge year so far for Film & TV, but we keep forgetting that our favourite toy movie is a big deal — unfortunately, Toy Story 4 trailer 2 revealed nothing new that could excite the memories from our sorry childhoods. It pretty much looks more or less the same, raising early questions of whether a fourth movie was necessary. Wait; of course it was required. There’s no such thing as too much Toy Story, right? Maybe we should petition for spin-offs, and prequels, and see strands of stories go off in different directions. Okay, perhaps too far. But anyway, here is the latest trailer.
Toy Story 4 trailer 2 is everything you can expect from the beloved franchise as the toys go on another adventure into the human world to fight a less-important cause. The endearing toys will continue to be vital with the marketing, but the trailer gives confidence that we can enjoy yet another film that brings both adults and children together in the cinema.

Some years after Andy gave his toys to Bonnie, Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toys are faced with a problem when Bonnie creates a new toy from arts and crafts, named Forky; Forky suffers from an existential crisis about being a toy, which the others try to help him understand how to be one. As Bonnie and her family go on a road trip, Forky escapes and Woody goes to save him, becoming separated from the group near a small town. As Buzz and the others try to help find Woody, Woody finds Bo Peep among other toys in the town’s antique shop, and she gives him a new outlook on what being a toy is really about.
