Blade Runner 2019 Free Comic Book Day Preview Here's a date for all you comic book fans to save.

Snag a copy of Blade Runner 2019 on Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day has been running for a while now, and it’s the day that comic book shops lay out a whole buffet of comic book samplers for people to help themselves to for absolutely nothing.

In the past, there have been some real gems on offer, and often some of those free comic books translate into red hot speculator items that fetch big prices on eBay. An issue of The Umbrella Academy springs to mind just for starters.

Well, this year Free Comic Book Day falls on May 2nd, and there’s quite a selection on offer.

Look for a reprint of issue #1 of Amazon hit The Boys by Garth Ennis. The first issue of Invincible is another gem and there looks set be a Spider-Man-Venom team up too. However, if you are on the lookout for something really special, try and grab the exclusive one-shot of Blade Runner 2019 that leads straight into the third arc of the best selling comic from Titan.

This free comic has a never-before-seen story and sets the stage for the climactic chapter in the story of Detective Ash.

The series comes from the Oscar-nominated screenwriter Michael Green and co-writer Mike Johnson, and those of you lucky enough to be following this series so far will know that is has captured the feeling of the Blade Runner universe and expanded on the themes it contains.

So this March, you can grab issue #8 of the run that concludes the current arc, then get the Free Comic Day one-shot before jumping on board for the final storyline, but get there early because these free issues will disappear, like tears…. oh, you know the rest.
