Dead to Me season 2 gets a May release date for Netflix plus a new teaser

When Dead to Me came to our screens, no-one could have predicted how popular it would have been — fans were screaming for a Season 2 instantly. Well, we are pleased to announce that Dead to Me Season 2 has a release date, a new teaser trailer, and key art! Netflix is really doing well considering the circumstances.

So when does Dead to Me season 2 come out?

Netflix have given an official release date of May 8, 2020 — you can add it to your list in preparedness now.

What will be the premise of the second season?

We imagine it will be a continuation, however here is the official premise as provided by Netflix:

Jen (Christina Applegate), Judy (Linda Cardellini) and the lies that entwine them are back. Picking up in the aftermath of that bloody backyard reveal, the irrepressible pair once again struggle to keep their secrets buried. With a surprising new visitor in town and Detective Perez (Diana Maria Riva) hot on their heels, Jen and Judy take drastic measures to protect their loved ones and each other — no matter the cost. From Emmy Award-winning creator Liz Feldman, Dead to Me returns for an addictively dark second season, where the stakes are higher, the friendship is deeper and the traumas that bond loom larger than ever before.

Okay, let’s check out this brand new trailer!

As you can see, the two leading women are still in hot water. Stress seems to be at an all-time high for Judy and Jen! Thoughts? Comment below.

What’s the format for Dead to Me Season 2?

Similar to the last season — 10 x 30 minutes episodes. We guess many viewers will binge this in a single day.
