Barkitecture is a heartwarming concept and one that will be thoroughly enjoyed by many, especially dog lovers.

Quibi original series Barkitecture season 1 was released on the mobile platform on May 11, 2020. The reality series is weekly.

If Jenna Marbles was ever going to pitch a reality show, Barkitecture would be her pitch. It’s a great shame she is not hosting the series; a reality show about building houses for dogs is her kind of niche — a destiny bestowed on her since the dawn of YouTube.

But alas, as part of Ready Steady Cut’s new coverage of Quibi, we’ve come across a series dog-lovers will undoubtedly love. Delia Kenza and Tyler Cameron waltz on to our smartphones, brimming with enthusiasm, hosting Barkitecture.

In the opening episode of Barkitecture, which is a mere 6-minutes long, we are introduced to a man that wants a nice home for his dog; within seconds, his dream doghouse comes true.

I’ll admit, the whole concept of making a dog a home within a home seems nonsense to me but it’s easy to remember how much we love our dogs and for some, having a pet is very important to them.

My only qualm is that Quibi decided to release this weekly it seems, although the programming is not clear. A Quibi series like Barkitecture should really be released in one batch. It does not have that addiction behind it that some reality shows have where you are desperate to tune in every week.

Regardless, Barkitecture season 1 is a heartwarming concept and one that will be thoroughly enjoyed by many, especially dog lovers. Well done Quibi.
