How does Can You Hear Me? season 1, episode 4, “Three Little Cats” open?

Episode 4 opens with the three friends singing in the park to children and their parents. Ada gets bored and starts saying vulgar words in the song so everyone walks off. Ada tells her friends that her mother is a prostitute. Carolanne tells them both that she’s pregnant and she is considering an abortion; Fabiola is against abortion but Ada is supportive. With Fabiola not being understanding, Carolanne walks off. Can You Hear Me? season 1, episode 4 continues to put their personal problems in the spotlight.

Ada offers to look after Fabiola’s niece while Fabiola goes to work. When Fabiola gets to work she rings her sister and tells her to get her act together.

New apartment

Ada checks out an apartment and she agrees to rent it; she gives sexual favours to the landlord so she can get it without a reference and one month’s rent. Meanwhile, Keven heads over to Carolanne’s house so she hides. Ada heads over to help out as it’s a desperate situation. The situation gets violent so Ada rings the police and Keven runs off. Carolanne is worried that the police are coming when there’s dope everywhere. Ada reveals she pretended to ring the police and both women laugh.

How does Can You Hear Me? season 1, episode 4, “Three Little Cats” end?

Ada bumps into the barman and he asks if she’d like to play ping-pong. Meanwhile, Keven texts Carolanne saying he’s sorry and that he’ll fix the doors. As the episode ends, Fabiola sings, Ada lays on the floor smoking, seemingly happy, and Carolanne is in deep thought. Ada heads over to her mother’s house and sees that she has an eviction notice. Even though she’s moving home, it looks like her mother will have to stay with her.
