Netflix’s Big Mouth casts Ayo Edebiri as Missy putting a name to the face
Fans of Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Big Mouth might be intrigued by the news that Ayo Edebiri will be joining the cast from the penultimate episode of the fourth season, playing the role of Missy. Edebiri will replace Jenny Slate, who had voiced the role since the first season.
Big Mouth Season 4 is tentatively pencilled in for a “Fall 2020” release. But Slate will continue to voice Missy throughout most of it, with Edebiri making her debut as the character in the penultimate episode. Since the show has been renewed by Netflix through six seasons, she’ll have plenty of time to evolve with the character, and the actor will join the show’s writing room for its fifth season.
