We recap of Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 1 Episode 2, “Secrets,” which contains significant spoilers.

Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams) and Kenji (Ryan Potter) are still trapped in an enclosed area by a group of violent dinosaurs. Suddenly the lights are turned on, and Roxie (Jameela Jamil) throws meat at the dinosaurs and helps them escape. Roxie tells Kenji and Darius that they are in big trouble. “Secrets” sees Darius’s dreams nearly dashed.

Darius is annoyed at Kenji for being stupid. Kenji talks about how he wants to make his father proud. When Roxie and Dave give them a telling off, Darius makes out like it was all his fault to save Kenji’s embarrassment. Roxie gives them a final warning. The next day, Darius and Kenji are given a punishment — clean up dinosaur excrement. Fun!

The rest of the group go to the genetics lab. Brooklynn wants to get some good video content. Meanwhile, Kenji tells a frustrated Darius that there’s more to this camp than he thinks and offers to show him more. Kenji brings Darius to a tunnel that connects the whole island. These boys never learn it seems.

In the genetics lab, the group see a dinosaur hatch from an egg which brings a cute moment. Brooklynn is enjoying the content she’s getting. Meanwhile, Darius senses that Kenji is not taking him to the carnotaurus he wants to see, however, they then hear a noise and wonder what it is. It’s a carnotaurus they realise they are on the wrong side of the fence.

Ending Explained

Darius and Kenji are chased by the dinosaur and they run through the jungle. They manage to get away from it. They both manage to get back to the camp in time to remove any suspicion. Darius and Kenji agree that they are now even. In the middle of the night, a drone descends on the camp adding mystery to the story.
