Summary
Episode 2 fleshes out the characters a little more, as Sol-i tries to comfort Cha Heon, while Dae-sung battles with the expectations of being a young athlete.

The opening
Episode 2 begins with Sol-i and friends having lunch together. Jin-hwan suggests that they go out and enjoy an hour’s karaoke together. They all enjoy the microphones, apart from Cha Heon who is trying to study — he does smile when Sol-i gets on the microphone. Ha-young and Dae-sung join in. Dae-sung tells everyone that he usually cannot do activities like this due to his strict swimming coach.
A clumsy getaway
Suddenly, they all see the Dean of the school, so they all attempt to ride off on their bikes quickly. Sol-i sits at the back of Dae-sung’s bike. When she gets home, Sol-i tells her parents that she lost her bike and they are furious.
A downbeat Cha Heon
At school, Sol-i is desperate to help Cha Heon who is down in the dumps. She wants to be by his side, but he doesn’t respond to her offers for food and company. He misses his father dearly, who is no longer in his life.
Below expectations
Sol-i and friends attend a national swimming championship to support Dae-sung. He doesn’t get first place which is unusual for him and the local journalists ask why. He seems downbeat, but his friends’ encouragement perks him up, especially Sol-i. He looks over at her, and she’s smiling at him. In the changing room, Dae-sung’s coach asks him if he wants to be a national athlete.
Episode 2 hints at a light love triangle forming.
The ending
Dae-sung tries to invite Sol-i for dinner after swimming, but she tells him she has something important to do. She then meets Cha Heon as he takes part in a memorial for his father, but he wants her to leave. Sol-i calls him mean, and wonders why he doesn’t accept help. Sol-i drops the food she brought to him and walks out upset.
The ending
Eventually, Sol-i returns, and Cha Heon is asleep on the sofa. She touches his face and realizes he has a temperature so puts a damp cloth on his forehead. She clearly has a lot of care for him as she watches him snooze. Eventually, Cha Heon wakes up, and their heads are very close to each other.
