The latest episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star pumped the brakes on the accidents and emergencies in favor of digging into some integral character dynamics, asking important cultural questions, and figuring out what it means — or doesn’t! — to put a label on something. But it also ended with a pretty major cliffhanger that’ll no doubt have fans wondering where to watch 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2, episode 5. We have you covered below along with our predictions for what we think might happen in “Difficult Conversations”.

Where to watch 9-1-1: Lone Star season 2, episode 5:

“Difficult Conversations” will premiere on Monday, February 15, at 9 pm ET on Fox.

9-1-1: Lone Star season 2, episode 5 summary and predictions:

After a week off from the usual chaos, “Difficult Conversations” looks set to double down on those kinds of shenanigans, at least according to the official synopsis:

Judd is shocked at the latest victim of an emergency call. Grace and Carlos must save a woman literally trapped in a domestic abuse situation. The 126 arrive at a horrific highway crash that threatens the lives of a father and daughter.

But the questions that everyone is really interested in are surely those that sprang up from the previous episodes, most especially what Owen and Gwyn are going to do about their baby. Neither was expecting to have another child, especially with their current relationship and living situation complicated, to say the least, so this unexpected development is sure to have some knock-on effects. T.K.’s reaction, especially, is going to interesting.

Speaking of T.K., his relationship with Carlos seems stronger than ever now — let’s hope that persists. The official summary doesn’t mention Tommy, but after she took a back seat next week, it’ll be nice to see what she’s up to. I think it’s safe to say we’ll have a few more medical emergencies in this episode, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Owen going a bit bonkers preparing for the new baby — you know how he gets. It’ll be interesting to see whether he and Gwyn decide to keep the news to themselves for now, but with the rate this show chews through the plot, you can probably expect to see something of a celebration in the 126.
