Next Time On… Servant season 2, episode 6 What is Leanne doing?
After Leanne’s cake, fans will be screaming for episode 6 of Servant season 2. Incredibly, this series has surpassed expectations so far, giving longevity to a story that felt narrow at first. By expanding its possibilities it has brought an endless imagination for how far these characters can take it.
Episode 5 shows Leanne is still kidnapped, with a few exceptions — Dorothy has decided to give her a few freedoms at certain times of day as part of a new strategy. There was no suggestion that Dorothy is still getting up at 2:00 am to physically attack Leanne. As the episode progresses, Leanne decides she wants to make a King Cake, and tell Tobi stories of her mother who obsesses over baking this recipe. This provides a strange ending, whereby she eats the King Cake she made savagely while looking up at a dressed mannequin.
Meanwhile, as for the Turners, they respond to a ransom note, believing it is from the cult — they believe if they bring the money to the shopping mall, they will get Jericho in exchange. With Julian watching from home, Dorothy and Sean head to the mall, and they are shocked to be met by Leanne’s uncle.
Episode 5 ends with Leanne’s uncle asking Julian where Leanne is.
Servant season 2, episode 6 release date

Servant season 2, episode 6 summary and predictions:
- The ransom note — did “the cult” really send this? Sean is absolutely right when he says he does not feel that they are motivated by money. Why did Julian send Roscoe to the mall to spy on his sister and husband? There’s still a possible twist coming — it could be possible that Julian plotted to take the money, but was sidetracked when the uncle turned up.
- The King Cake and the mannequin — when Leanne started to eat the cake savagely, it turned into a paranormal experience, with lights flickering around her crazily — is this the rebirth of her mother? She seemed very specific in how she dressed the mannequin and how she spoke to it. The whole experience felt like a summoning, rather than a tradition that Leanne was playing out. The next episode could see this plot point drop like a popped balloon, or manifest into something more.
- The money — let’s say that the Turners did hand over the money and that it was not a plot planned by Julian, will “the cult” return Jericho to the family? The Turners seemed relaxed bringing the uncle home.
- Leanne keeps telling Dorothy and others that Dorothy will “get what she deserves”. I wonder what she has planned for her?
Please comment below your theories. Servant season 2, episode 6 looks set to be very important.
