After that frantic and cinematic premiere, episode 2 continued to progress this high-octane sci-fi mystery with style and great direction — Sisyphus: The Myth episode 3 looks to put the foot down on the pedal even more for this intriguing k-drama series. Tae-sul has turned from famous scientist to an investigator, looking into the suitcase he has found, while also trying to find out his brother’s secret, who was presumed dead, but now looks to be alive. As for Gang Seo-hae, she’s readjusting to 2020, but she’s struggling. Luckily, Sun offers to help her in exchange for lottery numbers.
Episode 2 sees both characters doing their best to escape from The Control Bureau — an organisation whose intentions are unclear at this stage. Tae-sul also has a key, and Mr Park, from The Control Bureau, is interested in having it in order to open “the safe”, which he has in his possession. There are more questions than answers at this point.

Sisyphus: The Myth episode 3 summary and predictions:
Based on a sneaky preview at the end of episode 2, the following plot points look to take place in episode 3:
- Tae-sul and Gang Seo-hae’s paths finally cross. There are a few scenes where they appear to be running away together. If you remember, in episode 1, Gang Seo-hae was warned to stay away from Tae-sul while in the future — so what does this mean now? She seems to have ignored those orders and looked for Tae-sul anyway. What answers will both characters have for each other?
- Both characters find an underground unofficial embassy that looks after people from other places. By other places, we can only assume from the future or different worlds — it’s not clear yet if we are dealing with time travel or multiple universes. It feels like the embassy are the good guys while The Control Bureau stops people from travelling to their time. Episode 3 looks to bring more answers in this area.
- Somebody shows Tae-sul and Gang Seo-hae the future in the preview; it’s not clear if it’s a glimpse into the future, or they actually travel to the future.
Please do not fall asleep on this series, folks; there’s plenty of reveals and twists coming our way!
