It will be difficult for Hospital Playlist to beat that penultimate episode, but we are sure they will try their hardest for the finale! Despite the breaks in the schedule, the second season has flown by! Here is where we are up to in the story:
- Lee Ik-jun was assaulted by a stranger and ended up in hospital. Song-hwa stays by his side to make sure that he’s okay while he recovers. His friends and sister are also concerned, but fortunately, his prognosis looks good.
- In the past (May 1999), we learn that Song-hwa asked Lee Ik-jun for dinner for his birthday, but he declined because he had a blind date.
- Song-hwa has to perform surgery on a patient who has an ophthalmic artery aneurysm.
- Lee Ik-jun recovers. His sister can see the romance brewing between her brother and Song-hwa from a distance.
- Min-ha and Seok-hyeong go on a date finally! Seok-hyeong admits to liking her, and they agree to see each other.
- Ahn Jeong-won learns from his mother that Yang Seok-hyeong may be leaving for the USA.
- And finally… Song-hwa confesses her feelings to Lee Ik-jun — they kiss and agree to see each other romantically!
Hospital Playlist season 2, episode 12 release date/time
Episode 12 will be released on September 16, 2021. The usual time is 3:30 pm (GMT), but sometimes this varies. We do not anticipate any changes to the schedule yet (sometimes this happens in the K-Drama world.)
