Apple TV+s most popular show is back, and the drama is intensifying already. Here is where we are with the story:
- Cory tells Bradley that Alex is returning, and she is not happy. She plays sick for three weeks.
- Mitch is in Italy, trying to enjoy a more peaceful life. A woman who recognizes him berates him at a cafe. Another woman defends him. At the end of the episode, Fred visits him, but he’s not in the mood to talk.
- Alex heads to the UBA office, but Cory wants to handle the PR for her return.
- Alex cannot help herself and heads to the studio. She’s overwhelmed as soon as people recognize her.
- Knowing Chip was wronged by Alex, Bradley rings him and tells him that Alex is returning to the show.
- Cory arranges a meal with Bradley, Alex, and the other anchors — Alex soon learns that she is not forgiven by certain crew members, including Daniel and Bradley.
- When Alex leaves the meal, Bradley chases after her, and she shows her fury, stating it will be different this time. She reminds Alex that she never spoke to Chip after she left after 15 years of working together.
- Alex visits Chip and asks him to join the show as her producer — he accepts.
- Cory learns that Hannah’s family will not accept the settlement and want it to go to court.
