This article discusses whether there will be season 2 of the Netflix reality series Selling Tampa and its renewed or cancelled status.
Well, we now have a Selling Sunset universe. And reality fans will be licking their lips at the prospect of more drama and more showdowns between cast members. Selling Tampa is the latest reality addition to hit Netflix, and with the concept already bedded in with its sibling, there will be little surprise if it’s successful.
Selling Tampa season 1 follows Sharelle Rosado and her team of agents. An all-black female team selling the hottest properties, attempting to become the number 1 spot for real estate in their area. A different brand to Selling Sunset but with the same spice. The question is, will it have the same success.
Will there be a season 2 of Selling Tampa – renewed or cancelled status
There is no confirmation of a second season of Selling Tampa yet, however, we will be able to speculate the chances of a continuation.
Firstly, it appears Netflix is all-in on this concept of the Selling universe. Selling Tampa will not be the only spin-off to arrive in this world. The streaming service has recognized its success and wants to make a library of real estate drama.
Secondly, Selling Sunset continues to thrive and has commissions up to season 5, and a strong likelihood that it will continue after that. Selling Tampa only has to have the same level of success, and Netflix will be pressing that renewal button.
Thirdly, it seems unlikely that Netflix will cancel Selling Tampa if it has the required viewing hours. The series isn’t entirely expensive to make in relativity to other projects. Whether there will be a season 2 of Selling Tampa will be down to its success, so fingers crossed it has a similar impact that its sibling had. We will, of course, keep you updated.
