Hurtling towards the finish line, we’re at a pivotal moment of the story in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. For those who need a quick refresher, here is where we are currently:
- Sang-un has rediscovered her memories, and suddenly turns on Hwal.
- Do-yoon, Ho-yeol, Hye-suk and Si-ho are set to leave the safe house.
- Eul-tae is out for revenge on Hwal and those close to him.
Here is an excerpt from the ending of episode 12 in our recap:
Realizing that her stab wound is in the same spot as Sang-yeon’s scar, Sang-un seems to have a moment of realization about her past – including when Hwal stabbed her – collapsing as her memories come flooding back. Then, in a moment of pure anger, Sang-un drives scissors into Hwal, before asking who, and what, he actually is.
