This article discusses whether there will be season 5 of the Netflix series Disenchantment and its renewed or cancelled status.

Check out the review of season 4.

Disenchantment was a win for Netflix. Bringing Matt Groening’s animation and brain to the streaming service, Netflix would have hoped for longevity. And even though it would be wild for them to think that Disenchantment will have the same levels as The Simpsons, it’s not insurmountable for them to get many seasons out of this crazy world.

Season 4 was released on February 9, 2022, and we gave it a favorable review:

The voice casting continues to be on point, and the universe of Matt Groening’s animation strengthens and sticks itself as appealing.

Will there be a season 5 of Disenchantment – renewed or cancelled status

Status: TBC

As of right now, Disenchantment has not been renewed for a fifth season. However, being so close to the launch date of season 4, it’s no surprise. However, we can speculate. Matt Groening has recently stated he wishes to make a few more seasons of his Netflix animated series. It will be massively surprising if Netflix decides not to listen to the cartoonist, especially with his reputation and success. It’s also a widely agreed view that fans would like more seasons of Disenchantment. It’s certainly captured the imagination of the masses.

It will all boil down to watch hours. With Disenchantment racking up a fourth season, it appears the animation does well in the Netflix statistics data bank and does not appear to be losing traction.

It will all boil down to whether Matt Groening wants to do more and his appetite. All signs point to the fact that he wants to do more, so fans will be excited at the prospect of watching more of Bean and her wild and plot-crazy adventures.
