Forecasting Love and Weather hits the nail on the head when it comes to old and new relationships. Here’s where we are up to so far after episode 8:
- Ki-jun apologizes to Ha-kyung for being an a*****e towards her, but he’s angry at Si-woo and Yu-jin for not telling him that they used to be together.
- Ha-kyung experiences a minor car accident, but the car insurance is still managed by Ki-jun, so she has to ring him for help. Si-woo cannot focus at work due to worrying about Ha-kyung and not hearing from her. Due to worry and anxiety, Si-woo is unable to work properly.
- Si-woo confronts Ha-kyung about how he feels; he is annoyed she didn’t contact him after the car accident, and he wonders if there are still things between her and Ki-jun. She apologizes for not updating him on the car accident.
- Si-woo tells Yu-jin that her husband knows they used to be together and suggests she should tell him.
- At a press conference, Ki-jun’s anger towards Si-woo overflows, and he fights him in front of colleagues. Both characters are now on disciplinary proceedings at work.
- Eventually, Ha-kyung tells Si-woo that she doesn’t want him to know how pathetic her last relationship was with Ki-jun but promises to be open with him about important aspects of her life in the future. Si-woo expresses his love and how he wants others to know about them.
- As the episode ends, Yu-jin tells Ki-jun that she lived with Si-woo. Ki-jun cannot get over the fact that she used to be with Si-woo, especially after learning that he’s now dating his ex-fiance, Ha-kyung.
