Roar is an eight-part series that features a range of new cast members/characters in each episode. As the show is female-driven (each episode features a new leading female actress), and the story focuses on issues that are meant to portray what it’s like to be a woman in today’s society, Roar is likely to be a rating hit (and rightfully so).
With a highly talented cast (Meera Syal and Nicole Kidman to name a couple), and quirky storylines, could it mean that the show will return for another season? Well, as each episode focuses on new characters/stories, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine that being the case.
Will there be a season 2 of the Apple TV series Roar – renewed or canceled status

At the present time, there was no news whatsoever regarding the future of Roar. Some articles did state that Roar would be a limited series, but there doesn’t even seem to be any more information on that matter either.
As is usually the case any decisions about the show will likely be made once the first season has aired. If there’s strong enough viewership/response there’s little reason as to why the show shouldn’t return. And since the show is an anthology-style show, it could easily last several seasons (much like American Horror Story).
