Who died in Anatomy of a Scandal season 1?
There is only one death in Anatomy of a Scandal, but it is critical to the story. And, frankly, a character death that was not one at all.
Alec Fisher
Alec was a classmate of James Whitehouse and Tom Southern. Now, James and Tom are important figures in British Parliament. James is the most talented politician, and Tom is the Prime Minister. However, in Oxford, Tom bought and brought some fan-friendly heroin to their group’s party. When James sees this, he does not want to ruin his or Tom’s reputations or golden boy futures.
So they head out and leave Alec on that cold, dark rooftop. When they get down to the sidewalk, they hear Alec yell from above. All of them are laughing, and Tom decides to shout to him that he should jump so he can fly and make it. Tom and James walk away giggling when they hear a splat behind them. Alec either jumped, fell, or forgot how to fly and is now dead on the sidewalk.
Do the guys go and check him? Nope. They run away and are worried Tom will be charged with murder for bringing the drugs. James decides to get rid of the drugs for him, so he has a get-out-of-jail-free card for the future.
Holly Berry
So, as you know, Holly Berry disappeared and could not be located. Everyone thinks she may have moved to Australia. What happened was that Kate killed off Holly Berry. She was a victim and someone who was raped. Kate created her new name, Kate Woodcroft, as a formidable intellectual armor to protect her from the things men do to women in the future.
While Holly Berry no longer exists, Kate Woodcroft rose from the ashes to take her place. Kate is determined never to be a victim again and fight for someone who needs her knight in shining armor.
