This article contains predictions for the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant season 2, episode 5.

The Flight Attendant has kept up the suspense and quality of the first season and possibly, in some ways, even improved on it. Of course, though, there’s a gripping mystery, and here’s what we know so far:

  • There’s a “Blond Double” who seems to be setting up Cassie for a ton of murders.
  • Cassie reunites with Megan in Iceland and, with Miranda’s help, brings her back to America.
  • Annie and Max get kidnapped and then freed by the deadly duo Gabrielle and Esteban.
  • After learning that two CIA analysts have been killed, Cassie and Benjamin have sex.

The Flight Attendant season 2, episode 5 release date/time

The fifth episode, titled “Drowning Woman”, is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, May 5th, 2022, at midnight PT. This is the fifth of eight total episodes airing weekly between now and Thursday, May 26th, 2022.

Where to watch

The Flight Attendant will air exclusively on HBO Max. Based on a US subscription, the streaming app will cost $14.99 a month, with a thirty-day free trial for new users. Unfortunately, HBO Max is unavailable in UK regions. However, as NOWTV services provide most of the content available on HBO Max, a NOW Entertainment membership for £9.99 will give you access to The Flight Attendant season two.

Predictions

It’s the halfway mark now! Whilst a lot has happened so far, there’s sure to be plenty more to develop on screen. As for what could occur in the fifth episode, here are a few predictions:

  • Like the previous two episodes, the episode title likely hints at a big plot point in the story. So with that in mind, there’s probably a drowning woman in the episode. But does anyone remember Brenda’s comment about nearly drowning? Does that mean she will have a more significant part in episode 5?
  • And that brings me to my “Blonde Double” theory. I think it’s Brenda. I don’t know why, and I don’t know how, but that’s my theory.
  • I still have my suspicions about Grace, and I think there’s something dodgy about Jenny as well.
  • Now that Cassie and Benjamin have had sex, I reckon she’ll open up to him, and he’ll be a big part in helping her solve who is behind the explosion.

You can watch this series with a subscription to HBO Max.
