We Own This City is the latest work of David Simon, a six-part adaptation of the book by Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton about the deeply corrupt Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force. A kind of spiritual successor to Simon’s highly acclaimed The Wire, it explores the institutions of Baltimore and the intersections between law enforcement, politics, and systemic injustice.

“Part Five” is slated to air on Monday, May 9, at 9 pm ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max. It’ll be the fifth of a planned six episodes. You can find the full release schedule below:

As a stand-alone streaming service it’ll set you back either $9.99 per month (with ads) or $14.99 per month (ad-free). We Own This City is scheduled to air in the UK on Sky and NowTV at some point in June, 2022, though a specific release date hasn’t yet been confirmed.
