This article discusses whether there will be season 2 of the Netflix series Baby Fever and its renewed or cancelled status.
The highly relatable series Baby Fever launched on the streaming service on June 8, 2022. At Ready Steady Cut, we gave it a favorable review: “Baby Fever is flared with comedy moments, but the severe tones of reality shine through in the drama.”
The main character, Nana (played by Josephine Park), is a fertility doctor who, in a moment of drunken madness, inseminates herself with her ex-boyfriend’s sperm from the sperm bank and spends the rest of the season panicking to explain her pregnancy. Her drunken actions were spurred by learning that she had six months left to become pregnant. She’s entering early menopause. The added spice to the story is that her ex-boyfriend is her lost love — “the one that got away” — Nana is desperate to get him back.
Will there be a season 2 of the Netflix series Baby Fever – renewed or cancelled status
Status: TBC/ Not renewed
At this moment in time, Baby Fever has not been renewed for a second season, but maybe it’s too early to speculate at the moment. With Netflix remodeling their business on release slates, it would not be surprising if we heard some news relatively soon on the status of this series (possibly in a month’s time). However, with season 1 ending with unanswered questions about the main character, we wouldn’t be surprised if it was renewed. The series is highly relatable, and the drama is gripping, with plenty of comedic tones.
Netflix tends to look out for watch hours, so let’s hope the series gets enough to justify a continuation.
At Ready Steady Cut, we’ll keep you informed on any news.
