The Terminal List is an action-thriller series based on the best-selling book series by Jack Carr. One of the principal characters is a brilliant technology mogul, Steve Horn, played by professional bad guy actor Jai Courtney. The Suicide Squad and Buffaloed actor is a man who has never met a bad guy he hasn’t loved to play. He owns Capstone Industries, a company with controlling interests in a pharmaceutical company, Nubellum. They have contracts with the complete branches of the military, all six, and those are with over 70 billion dollars.

So, that begs the question:

Who is Steve Horn in The Terminal List season 1?

Steve Horn is a technology billionaire who owns Capstone Industries, which is based in San Francisco.

What does Steve Horn do?

Steve Horn owns Capstone Industries and has a controlling stake in Nubellum, the pharmaceutical company with limitless government contracts and unlimited potential. He is trying to negotiate a deal with another company, Plano, to merge with Nubellum. One of the main goals of getting the deal done was to market a revolutionary drug to eliminate PTSD in soldiers called RD-4895. So much so that Horn quit successful animal trials and made a deal to run a blind experiment. Unfortunately for everyone involved, things go very badly wrong.

The drug had the unintended consequence of causing terminal brain cancer in the test subjects. Horn pays for a coverup for that unit to be ambushed on a mission to Syria. This will help to cover up that fact. Furthermore, he attempted to have Reece killed and paid for the deaths of his family. His last cover-up was arranging the hit on Mike Tedesco, the head of Nubellum, who gave damning information to a reporter. He was then shot and died in a subway station stairwell.

He meets his maker a day after the deal was complete. However, Reece puts a bullet in his head when an EFT bomb does not kill him. Some might say he got off easy.
