This article is a preview for Extraordinary Attorney Woo season 1, episodes 5 & 6, and may contain spoilers for previous episodes.

Netflix’s latest k-drama offering is Extraordinary Attorney Woo, a charming dramedy about a young woman with an autism spectrum disorder joining a big law firm and facing a fair helping of irrational prejudice alongside her legal cases.

The latest two episodes focused a lot on delving into Young-woo’s personality, but also how others in the legal community perceive her and her autism, which leads to some personal and professional challenges:

Episode 3: “It’s called a spectrum for a reason, and “This Is Pengsoo” is at least in part dedicated to highlighting that fact within the context of this likable new drama. Opening with an autistic individual, Jeong-hun, presumably beating his brother, Sang-hun, to death, Young-woo is given the case primarily on the basis of her own autism so we can see the major discrepancies in these two personalities.”

Episode 4: “The success compels Young-woo to return to work, as well it might, but I for one am much more interested in the personal dynamic that is beginning to emerge between her and Jun-ho, as well as the familial backstory that we’re constantly being teased about. I’m sure there will be more to come from both of these things in coming episodes.”

Extraordinary Attorney Woo season 1, episodes 5 & 6 release date
