“Don’t Try This at Home” concentrates on the fallout from episode six. Answering two major questions from that episode’s finale. Firstly, what was the videotape that Sheila hand delivered to Auggie and secondly, what has transpired with John’s baby. Here’s what happened in episode seven of Physical:
- Sheila faced Auggie and the other board members in a heated debate. Someone had sent them the sex tape and they were concerned about its implications. Sheila is fired from the company, but she planned it all anyway.
- Sheila meets up with Greta and proposes that they go into business together now that she is free from her contract. Greta is ecstatic.
- John and his family pray for the safety of his daughter and wife. John blames himself though, worrying his sins have led to this upheaval.
- Danny passes Sheila a pamphlet for a treatment program for people with eating problems.
- Sheila starts to work out and brainstorms new ideas. Danny joins in with the workout routine and actually enjoys himself. They get stoned together and come up with a new business idea.
- John and his wife are told that their baby is safe and well. John breaks down and confesses to the affair and many other sins. His wife says it is OK, but he needs to step up as the man of the house now.
- Sheila tells Greta that Danny is coming in as an investor as well. The friends argue about Danny and this need for secrets. Sheila confesses to cheating and having bulimia, although Greta isn’t comforting to her friend at all. She says Sheila is selling a lie and storms off.
- John tricks Sheila into another motel rendezvous, but brings his wife along with him. They talk about confessing and forgiving one another. They want Sheila to repent for her sins and join them at church.
- Sheila takes Danny up on the treatment program idea and drives to the venue. It is unclear if she is actually going to attend or heading for something else instead.
