This article discusses everything we know about the Netflix film Look Both Ways, including the premise, release date, cast, and trailer.
Later this August, you will be able to watch Look Both Ways, a heartfelt and romantic story that plays with the ideas of parallel realities in the life of Natalie after she takes a pregnancy test.
The idea of a multi-verse has long been associated with comic books and science fiction. DC Comics made the concept very popular as far back as the 1960s in their comic books, with the classic story The Flash of Two Worlds blowing the minds of comic readers everywhere. If you think Marvel’s latest output of films such as Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home is breaking new ground, you have a bit of catching up to do.
Everything Everywhere All At Once is a wonderful multi-reality movie that embraces all the silliness of the comic book sci-fi trope and places it into a more mundane setting, and perhaps Look Both Ways may explore similar themes.
Netflix film Look Both Ways premise and release date
Just before she graduates, Natalie finds that her life has split into two separate timelines, one in which she is pregnant and must adapt to life as a young mother in Texas, and one where she takes off to LA to pursue a career. Along the way through the various situations she finds herself in, she ultimately comes to terms with herself.
Look Both Ways will be released on Netflix on August 17, 2022.
Our opinion on the premise
A sci-fi look at a slice of life drama seems like a nice idea just now and will serve as a counterpoint to the more fantastic premises that thrive in the world of superheroes. This might be a more grounded look at the path less chosen and could prove interesting and heartfelt if done in the right way.

Look Both Ways could surprise viewers by taking a sci-fi concept and layering it into a drama that explores how decisions that we make in our lives can lead us down very different paths. I imagine a mix of comedy and drama with some more introspective scenes that many of us may be able to relate to. Let us know your thoughts when the film is released.
