This article discusses the Apple TV+ miniseries Bad Sisters, including the premise, release date, cast, soundtrack, and trailer.

Apple TV+ has been doing a grand job of releasing top-quality shows recently; TehranTed Lasso, and Servant, to name a few. But will Bad Sisters continue to ride high like the others? Here’s everything we know about the new witty and darkly comedic murder mystery series Bad Sisters.

Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters premise

Courtesy of Apple TV+: A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, Bad Sisters follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.

Our opinion of the premise

Truth be told, I feel that it’s hard to fully judge on the premise alone. While there is, of course, vital information in the premise, I’m still none the wiser on what to expect. But maybe that’s the point?

However, the mixture of dark comedy and thriller immediately reminds me of The Afterparty, also made by Apple TV+. And from that alone, I’m hoping that Bad Sisters will be just as good.

The first two episodes will premiere on Apple TV+ on August 19, 2022, and then it will be a weekly episode every Friday.

Is there a soundtrack for Bad Sisters?

There certainly is! “Who by Fire”, originally sung by Leonard Cohen, will be the theme tune and will be performed by Sharon Horgan. While the song isn’t available yet on Spotify, it should be soon after the show’s release.

Is there a trailer for Bad Sisters?

Yes! Here it is:

So it definitely gives more to the story than the premise does. It seems that the show will be very niche and heavy on dark humor from start to end. The cast shown within the trailer is excellent, and that bodes well for the show itself. All in all, I do feel that Bad Sisters is the type of show that can only really be judged by watching it. I can easily see it being superb but rubbish at the same time. From the premise and trailer, Bad Sisters does not have me jumping out of my seat.
