Where was the Netflix film Seoul Vibe filmed – a breakdown of locations
Seoul Vibe was filmed in Eurwang-dong, Jung-gu Incheon, in August 2021, just over a year ago. It was announced at the end of 2020 that the film would be produced by Andmarq Studio and distributed by the streaming giant Netflix. The shooting was delayed twice because the crew and one of the film’s stars, Go Kyung-Pyo, came down with COVID-19.
Eurwang-dong, Jung-gu Incheon, South Korea
The film was exclusively filmed in Eurwang-dong, Jung-gu Incheon, South Korea. As we discussed above, filming stopped multiple times because of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed in December 2021 and finished shortly after. The filming in Incheon is significant to the history of South Korea. Since the philosophies changed from an authoritarian government to a democracy, the port of Incheon was the first in the country to be opened to the outside world. In 2003, this was designated as South Korea’s first free economic zone.
This is South Korea’s third largest city behind Seoul and Busan. Incheon is located close to Seoul, the South Korean capital, designated part of that area. In total, this is the fourth-largest metro population on earth. Some of the most famous movies filmed in the Seoul Capital area are Parasite, Oldboy, Okja, Star Trek Beyond, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
