This article discusses the Netflix series Only For Love, including the premise, release date, cast, and trailer.

Later this month, Netflix is bringing us a brand new series all the way from Brazil. Only For Love is set to be an emotional, musical ride with a heavy focus on romance and all the drama that comes with it.

Music to your ears up to now? Here’s everything we know about Only For Love:

Only For Love premise

As Netflix describes –

“Deusa’s solo career puts her romance with Tadeu to the test. Eva wants a great artist to sing her lyrics. Soon, their musical dreams collide.”

Our opinion of the premise

Only For Love doesn’t strike one as being a particularly groundbreaking series. However, fans of this kind of show are absolute die-hards, so I’m sure it will be a fine lesson in knowing and serving your niche. For something that appears to appeal to an adult audience, the concept does seem a little juvenile – maybe pitched at a few years older than Camp Rock – so it will be interesting to see how it comes across with a broader audience.

There sure is! Check it out below:

Only For Love will have its fans, there is no doubt about that. But, as previously mentioned, its subject matter has very specific appeal to a very specific demographic, so love for the show may not be far-reaching. However, with such specificity comes huge adoration, so even though it will likely find fewer fans, they may count for far more. Coming from Brazil, the social and cultural elements may add a slightly different vibe than what we’ve seen with projects of a similar nature in the past, which in itself will be a nice change. All in all, however, I wouldn’t expect the earth to shatter.

You will be able to watch this series with a subscription to Netflix.
