This article is a preview for 9-1-1 season 6, episode 2, and contains details of the release date and where to watch online.

Developed by American Horror Stories creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, Fox’s 9-1-1 has been the procedural that keeps on giving since its debut in 2018. The show, which tells high-pressure stories of Los Angeles first responders with sometimes surprising levels of production and polish, has been a mainstay for Fox for the last several years and has amassed a coterie of devoted fans (and, not to mention, has spawned a spin-off or two such as the very good 9-1-1: Lone Star).

Despite this, the show was one of the last to be officially renewed in May thanks to contract renegotiations with the cast. However, it wasn’t much of a surprise that such a consistently beloved show avoided the chop, and here we are in the sixth season. Here’s everything we know about the latest episode:

9-1-1 season 6, episode 2 release date/time

The latest episode of 9-1-1 is slated to premiere on Monday, September 26, at 8pm ET/PT on Fox.

Is there a trailer?

Fox has deigned to release what looks like a teaser for the entire season, or at least a good chunk of it, though with an obvious focus on the explosive high-stakes premiere. Here:

Where to watch 9-1-1 online

As mentioned above, 9-1-1 airs on Fox. If you don’t have a TV the episodes will be available through Fox’s app and website. They will also stream the next day on Hulu. Previous seasons are also available to watch on Hulu if you’re in the U.S., and other live TV providers such as FuboTV, Sling TV and YouTube TV can also access the Fox network.

If you’re in the U.K., you’re such for now. Previous seasons have aired on Disney+, but only up to Season 4.

How many episodes will 9-1-1 Season 6 have?

While there doesn’t seem to be any official confirmation, several previous seasons of the show have run for 18 episodes and followed the same release cadence, with a Fall premiere, a Winter hiatus, and a Spring conclusion. We expect this to be consistent here.

Who will be in the cast?

Following the recent negotiations, here’s the cast as we know it:

  • Angela Bassett as Field Sergeant Athena Grant
  • Peter Krause as Captain Bobby Nash
  • Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley
  • Aisha Hinds as Hen Wilson
  • Kenneth Choi as Chimney Han
  • Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Kendall
  • Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz
  • Corinne Massiah as May Grant
  • Marcanthonee Jon Reis as Harry Grant
  • Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz
