David and Laurie are now fully aware of the defect in their coding, they must hastily fix this issue before meeting their own end. Whilst this battle with Logorhythms wages on, Caspian discovers who he truly is in a great twist ending. This instalment really highlights the show’s great knack for storytelling and animation. Here’s what happened in episode five of Pantheon:
- Waxman researches Prasad’s company and discovers Chanda, who he believes is another Uploaded Intelligence.
- Maddie discusses the defect with David and Laurie. Logorhythms shut down the servers that give life to David and he glitches out of control.
- Pope is informed that Cary has gone rogue. Cary steals a car and drives off into the night.
- Caspian quizzes Hannah about her real motives. She confesses to everything, stating that she is an actor hired to befriend Caspian.
- David reverts back to the emoji chat. He has lost his memory of the last 24 hours and cannot be reached via VR. They decide to set up their own servers to house David and Laurie.
- Caspian spies on his mother and uncovers more of her secrets. They go on a road trip for a vacation, but Renee is secretly hunting down Cary. Caspian steals her car and finds his father himself.
- David hacks into Pope’s phone and then laptop. They can’t find any cures for the defect, but discover the true identity of Caspian. He is a clone of Holstrom. The genius wanted to find a fix for this defect, but died before he could solve the problem. Caspian is their last hope.
- Caspian is told all this by his dad. The parents were hired to recreate Holstrom’s life the best they could, and sculpted Caspian into the person he now is. They hoped he would become a genius and solve their problem. Now David and co rely on Caspian to save them too.
- Renee finds Cary and Caspian talking, she shoots Cary for his betrayal. Caspian drives off with his father, who is bleeding to death.

Predictions
- Caspian will take Cary to the hospital, but Pope’s men will hunt him down anyway. Cary will see how futile it is to run and will turn himself in.
- All alone, Caspian will no doubt turn to Maddie and finally connect with her in the real world. Caspian is David and Laurie’s only hope of survival, they will be hunting him down too no matter what.
- Chanda has been quiet of late, I am sure he will return to the narrative more next episode. Maybe Chanda will start to feel the symptoms of the defect and worry his days are also numbered.
- Pope is trying to shut down the servers that home David and Laurie, wanting to eradicate them from existence, his men will continue searching for the location of this vital equipment.
