This article discusses 10 series like Fate: The Winx Saga you must watch.

Some people grew up with the Winx Club as a Saturday morning cartoon and it had some of the best animations for fairies. The fairies were marketed to a younger demographic and they even had dolls for them as well. When Netflix decided to do a live-action version of the show fans were apprehensive but were also excited to see their favourite fairies come to life. Fate: The Winx Saga follows Bloom (Abigail Cowen) as she adjusts to life in the Otherworld, where she must learn to control her dangerous magical powers. Many fantasy shows have wonderful group dynamics and a strong story to have longevity for the series as a whole.

Like For Like – 10 series like Fate: The Winx Saga you must watch

Shadow and Bone (2021)

Dark forces conspire against orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov when she unleashes an extraordinary power that could change the fate of her war-torn world. The book series is beloved by many and the world-building in this series is incredibly strong. There is so much material to bring to the series and that’s what makes it so good. It could last for a couple of seasons. Fate: The Winx Saga has a lot of world-building as well and has a strong set of characters to work off of.

The Originals (2013)

A family of power-hungry thousand-year-old vampires look to take back the city that they built and dominate all those who have done them wrong. Even though this is a show about vampires, some strong family values come with the series. Similar to Fate: The Winx Saga where all the fairies have this sisterly bond because of their powers. And they almost always try to do some good.

Legacies (2018)

Hope Mikaelson, a tribrid daughter of a Vampire/Werewolf hybrid, makes her way in the world. Legacies is the spinoff of The Originals and the storyline becomes even more twisted and they expand the universe. There are multiple characters from different backgrounds that come together and unite, which is also really great to see in a series of fantastical creatures.

Winx Club (2004)

The series follows the adventures of a group of girls known as the Winx, students at the Alfea College for Fairies, who turn into fairies to fight villains. It’s always fun to go back to the original that started it all to even get some good backstory on the characters that we see in the live-action series on Netflix. They may have changed a bit of it to make it more adult-themed but in the end, it still carries the same qualities.

Charmed (1998)

Three sisters discover their destiny, to battle against the forces of evil, using their witchcraft. They are the Charmed Ones. The original Charmed did so much for pop culture because it was a group of witches with the most popular actresses at the time. There are many ways to show witchcraft and it has changed over the years. So whether it’s a fairy or a witch, the powers are the same.

The Magicians (2015)

After being recruited to a secretive academy, a group of students discover that the magic they read about as children is very real-and more dangerous than they ever imagined. There’s something about bonding over learning something like magic and that’s exactly what this series does. They bring people together quite like Fate: The Winx Saga for the greater good.

Once Upon a Time (2011)

A young woman with a troubled past is drawn to a small town in Maine where fairy tales are to be believed. To some, believing in fairytales can be childish, but the way this series grounded these tales made it so different. The real world and the dream world come together for these classic characters and it’s a bit darker than we are used to.

Pretty Little Liars (2010)

Four friends band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their darkest secrets, while also investigating the disappearance of their best friend. Pretty Little Liars has the foundation of friendship to carry them through and so does Fate: The Winx Saga. To them, they feel like family to each other, and even if there is a betrayal, they always find a way to fix the situation.

Warrior Nun (2020)

After waking up in a morgue, an orphaned teen discovers she now possesses superpowers as the chosen Halo Bearer for a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns. When it comes to young teens trying to find their way, they can always find someone to depend on and help them. These young fairies in Fate: The Winx Saga have to navigate some hardships with the only people they trust on their side.

Cursed (2020)

A teenage sorceress named Nimue encounters a young Arthur on her quest to find a powerful and ancient sword. When Katherine Langford took on the lead role for Netflix people were excited to see her lead again. This fantasy show has an interesting concept and has a young girl on a quest of her own. Much like the fairies in Fate: The Winx Saga.
