Chopped (2009 – )

Chopped is a cooking competition in which several chefs race against time to win judges over with their culinary skills. The series has been running for a whopping 52 seasons and has been adapted in several countries. It also has more spin-offs than we can count. It’s the perfect binge for all food lovers.

Iron Chef America (2005 – 2018)

Hell’s Kitchen (2005 – )

About to enter its 21st season, Hell’s Kitchen is the perfect show for those who love watching Gordon Ramsey come up with inventive insults. Each year, a bunch of chefs are put through a series of grueling challenges and battle for the position of Head Chef at one of Ramsey’s world-renowned restaurants.

Top Chef (2006 – )

Top Chef and its many spin-offs are a must-watch for all cooking competition lovers. The premise is simple: A group of people are cut off from the outside world, made to complete cooking challenges and they gradually get eliminated until one is declared the season’s Top Chef.

Worst Cooks in America (2010 – )

The Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America offers an interesting spin on standard cooking competitions. The contestants here don’t claim any culinary talents, on the contrary. And it’s up to the show’s celebrity chefs to teach these awful cooks how to handle themselves in a kitchen.

The Final Table (2018)

The Final Table was hosted by celebrity food critic Andrew Knowlton and only ran for one season. But what a season it was. It featured 12 teams of professional chefs from different countries showing off their local cuisines.

Cutthroat Kitchen (2013 – 2017)

Cutthroat Kitchen had an interesting take on cooking shows. The contestants were given a budget they could either spend on helping themselves or sabotaging fellow competitors.

Rat in the Kitchen (2022 – )

Hosted by Natasha Leggero and Ludo Lefebvre, Rat in the Kitchen has everything a cooking series should: A hard to impress celebrity chef, a group of wannabe chefs and… well, a rat in the kitchen. However, it’s not a real rat, just an undercover mole whose sole mission is to sabotage the contestant’s attempts at preparing groundbreaking dishes.

Food Network Star (2005 – 2018)

Food Network Star ran for 14 seasons and the aspiring chefs were competing for a most unusual prize: Their very own Food Network show. Yes, this was a series where people went on television for their chance to appear on television. Still, it’s highly binge-able.
