This article discusses 10 series like The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist you must watch.
In the mid-2000s, Hollywood shifted from movie stars to celebrities, and there is a difference between the two. At one point, movie stars were private people, and no one knew anything about them. Once the tabloids became all about gossip and Perez Hilton started his website, the richness of Beverly Hills was exposed for everyone to see. The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist is based on the “Bling Ring” robberies that took place in LA’s rich suburbs between 2008-2009. What was so fascinating about this documentary series is finally hearing what Alexis Neiers went through because her story was amplified more than the others. At the time, the producers of her reality show thought it was a good idea to incorporate the scandal for ratings, but that ultimately destroyed her. It was interesting to see how it all started with Nick Prugo and his reasoning behind creeping into the Hollywood Hills.

Trial By Media (2020)
Women are always under scrutiny by the media even after being assaulted or abused. After a woman is raped on a bar’s pool table, the trial is televised live on CNN, revealing the woman’s identity and the brutal cross-examination. Everything had been televised and the woman had to face her trauma yet again, daily. The media had twisted it much like what happened to Alexis Neiers.
On the other side of this series is Nick Prugo’s ability to perform these heists while going unnoticed. In Heist Karls Monzon is unable to cover the cost of adoption and assembles a crew to plan a heist at the Miami International Airport by studying TV shows. After Karls and his crew take off with $7.4 million, the FBI gets an unexpected lead, and Jeffrey Boatwright becomes a kidnapping target. Basing the idea of stealing from TV shows is an interesting angle to take.
Ireland’s Greatest Robberies (2014)
It examines the biggest cash robbery to ever take place in Ireland in which 26 million pounds was stolen from the Northern Bank in Belfast City center in December 2004. Looking at it, 26 million pounds is an excessive amount and it would be interesting to watch how it happens. It’s streaming on Apple TV+ and has been a draw for the platform.

Money Heist (2017)
Money Heist is one of the most successful Netflix series. Every time a season is released, the hype surrounding it is electric. There are many moving parts but this series highlights the puppet master which is exactly what Nick Prugo was.
Good Girls (2018)
Not all heist series need to be dramatic, sometimes they’re fun. The series follows three suburban Michigan mothers, two of whom are sisters, who are having a hard time trying to make ends meet. They are tired of having everything taken away from them so they decide to pull off an unlikely heist by robbing a supermarket, only to discover that they’re in for more than they bargained.
The Guy Ritchie film that came out years ago had a fun cast and that carried over to this TV series. A group of up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion is suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. There are always a group of people that become key players in the heist and that’s what the series shows. Much like The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist.
The Endgame (2022)
The characters in Endgame have wonderful chemistry and by combining that with a heist makes for some pretty good television. Stakes are high and it gets a bit raunchy at times. It’s a sexy and twisted heist series that shows how far some people will go for love, justice, and the most valuable commodity in the world: truth.
This is a Robbery (2021)
This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist is a 2021 American documentary miniseries about the March 18th, 1990 robbery of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Art of the Heist (2006)
Sometimes it’s not money, but art pieces. It’s interesting to see what people steal. Much like Nick Prugo and his team, it could be clothes and accessories too. In Art of the Heist, they turned crime into an art form. Meet the crooks who plundered artistic treasures, sending shock waves through the art scene and setting off frantic dragnets across the globe.
