There’s no denying that this series has achieved incredible critical acclaim. Netflix would have been foolish not to give Mismatched a season 3. After its release in 2020, fans were begging for more. There are a lot of rumors circulating the internet, and the main one is that Mismatched Season 3 has begun filming.
Mismatched season 2 provides a seemingly evolving premise; Dimple (played by Prajakta Koli) has lost her app, despiting being a genius code, proving that genius does not mean being commercially minded. Meanwhile, Rishi (played by Rohit Saraf), a character usually ruthlessly a hopeless romantic, has completely lost faith in love.
Mismatched Season 3 Rumored to Have Started Filming

While Netflix has not officially renewed Mismatched, the cast involved and the production team have teased Season 3 for a long time. According to Film Companion, the Lead actor Rohit Saraf posted a sneak peek of the filming of the third season on their Instagram.
October 14th, 2022 Update
At this moment in time, Mismatched has not been renewed for season 3 on Netflix. It comes as no surprise as Netflix tends to bide its time when making decisions on such projects. However, with the production behind the series and the critical acclaim and audience retention, it would not be surprising if Mismatched was renewed for a third season. Despite a dip in quality in season 2, it certainly has a lot of potential.
Netflix has a habit of renewing the Hindi series — it would be wise for the streaming service to keep this in its locker.
While we cannot make a concrete prediction on the status of Mismatched yet, we do hope there will be good news in the future. Until now, we can enjoy what we have in front of us.
