After several underwhelming episodes, the shift of Echo 3 has been strong over the last two episodes. We had our first Amber-focused episode where she makes a new friend, attempts to escape, and faces some serious consequences. Here is everything that went down in season 1, episode 5.
- Amber starts to pay attention to the details of the camp. We see her hone in on all the cars coming in and out and the people working and possibly scope out her escape plan.
- Tomas comes in to talk to Amber and grills her on why she is in their country. Of course, he brings up the idea of her being a CIA agent, which she completely refutes.
- Later, we see Tomas meet with a man who is starting to get frustrated with his lack of getting Amber to talk about why she was in their country. He says they are both dead if he doesn’t find out soon.
- Amber meets a new friend who is also a prisoner at the camp. At first, Amber is quite skeptical of her, but she starts to realize she can be an asset to help her get out.
- Her new friend starts to tell her little things about the camp to get more permission and freedom. So Amber starts working for the camp. From helping with the operation and getting close to the camp members, Amber starts to fit in perfectly.
- Tomas comes back to film Amber at the campsite.
- Throughout his entire time of trying to get Amber to say what he needs her to say, Amber gives him a hard time. The back and forth between the two almost leads to Tomas losing his cool completely on her.
- Amber and her new friend play a game where they bounce a metal tin back and forth, sharing some truths. Amber admits she isn’t sure she ever loved Prince and that she thinks he will leave her there forever.
- Later that night, Amber goes to her friend and says it’s time for them to go. However, she refuses to leave, meaning Amber is off alone.
- We see Amber go through so much to escape the camp, battling conditions and obstacles and FINALLY being free. However, it doesn’t last long as the soldiers find her and recapture her.
- As the episode ends, we see Tomas give the order to kill Amber’s new friend.
Echo 3 season 1, episode 6 release date and time
Episode 6 is scheduled to release on Apple TV+ on Friday, December 16th, 2022, at 3:00 AM EST. Episode 6 is titled “Habeas Thumpus” and will have a runtime of 43 minutes.
