These last few episodes of Mob Psycho 100 have been an emotional rollercoaster, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Not only has Mob (voiced by Setsuo Ito) still not gotten to confess, but things only get worse as he continues to attack and hurt the people he loves. Despite their best efforts, not even Toichiro, Sho, The Body Improvement Club, and Ritsu could stop Mob’s rampage. Hopefully, Reigen and Serizawa will be able to help him.
- Ritsu sees a vision of Mob on his rampage and immediately leaves his student council meeting to find and help his brother. He wonders if Mob was rejected, and that’s why he reacted like this until he finds Mob’s bag and sees the crash site.
- Toichiro shows up at the convenience store to try and subdue Mob, but Mob gets the better of him. Sho shows up to assist his father in the fight, hoping they can wear Mob out and he will stop on his own. However, Mob overpowers them both.
- Mob absorbs their power, using it against them and injuring Toichiro. Sho encourages them to flee, and at first, Toichiro refuses, intending to sacrifice himself. He soon changes his mind and decides to leave the scene safely with his son instead.
- The Body Improvement Club is relieved to find Mob on the street so that they can escort him to the safety of the shelter, not realizing Mob is the one causing the destruction. They quickly realize something is wrong and try to help, but Mob blasts them all away. He almost gravely injures Jun, but luckily Ritsu appears and uses his powers to save him.
- Ritsu tells Mob he is not afraid of him and plans to help his brother, but on the inside, Mob is panicking, screaming for Ritsu to leave. Ritsu does not realize that the unhinged Mob he sees will hurt him, as it is not the same as Mob, no matter how much Ritsu believes it is.
- As Ritsu reflects on the past and how suppressing his powers forced Mob to this point, a new progress counter appears and begins counting up toward 100%
- Mob begs his brother to stay back, to no avail, as he cannot contain the unhinged version of him. Unhinged Mob subdues Ritsu, but Ritsu realizes the key to saving his brother may just be shocking him out of his current state.
- The progress counter hits 100%, revealing it was actually Ritsu’s counter the whole time, as he suddenly lets out a super strong psychic blast.
- The two fight over Mob’s bouquet before unhinged Mob eventually gets the better of Ritsu and tosses him from the bridge they are on.
- Mob searches deep within his mind to try and confront the part of him that has gone off the rails and eventually finds it. He accuses Mob of being the fake one out of the two of them.
- Meanwhile, Reigen and Serizawa are doing their best to navigate the debris and destruction to get to Mob.
- As the unhinged Mob reveals his motivation, the real Mob begins to crack. The next time they wake up, the unhinged Mob explains he will be the real Mob.

Predictions
Just when I think I know exactly what’s going to happen, this series throws me for a loop. Last week’s predictions weren’t all exactly wrong, but they weren’t exactly right either. Toichiro and I seemed to have the same idea about slowing Mob down, but that didn’t work at all. Ritsu did his best to stop his brother, but it wasn’t quite enough to break through to him. We still have Reigen as the ace up our sleeve, but if he can’t save Mob, no one can.
- Reigen will undoubtedly confront Mob in the finale, and since we know just how touching and perfect his advice can be, I’m pretty positive he’ll be able to snap Mob out of it.
- Tsubomi is still waiting for Mob at the park, surprisingly. She seems closer than most to danger, and it wouldn’t surprise me if this unhinged Mob managed to get to her, as he’s been holding onto this bouquet for dear life this entire time. Considering how he’s hurt plenty of others, I almost expect him to hurt her on accident and finally realize the error of his ways.
