I’m not sure we have seen a show improve as each week passes as Echo 3 has. We have so many chess pieces being played throughout the last few weeks that we are on the verge of an all-out war. Here is everything that went down in season 1, episode 7.
- We kick off with Bambi interrogating Momo about his brother. Momo says he has a lot of money and can get it to him, but Bambi doesn’t care.
- Bambi’s patience is running thin as he doesn’t want to wait any longer. Prince tries to assure him that everything will be fine.
- Violeta has begun to investigate the kidnapping of Momo. She takes it to the President for comment, but he quickly tells her he can’t talk about an active investigation. She calls her boss to tell him what was said, and he tells her to keep digging.
- We see Natalie track down Violeta to let her know that they are onto what she is doing.
- Prince and Bambi are working things out when he gets a call that his mother is in town. Bami heads to the airport to pick her up, and upon returning to the apartment, he breaks down what is happening in the house (with the kidnapping).
- Of course, Tariq wasn’t willing to sit back and do nothing about his brother being kidnapped, so he sent a crew to retrieve him. While things start rough, Roy takes down two men, but the third gets the best of him.
- As the third man moves upstairs, he finds Momo but knows someone is in the shower. He opens the door, shoots at the shower, and opens the curtain, and no one is there. He turns around, and Bambi’s mom blasts him with a shotgun.
- After getting home, Prince and Bambi see the house has been broken into and do recon. Moments later, Bambi finds out his mom is okay, but she shoots and killed someone. So he tells her he has to send her home.
- The boys know they have to move Momo to a different location, so they find a place in the middle of nowhere.
- Upon arriving, Mitch shows up to call Tariq to show them torturing Momo. However, after he sets it up, he leaves, making Prince and Bambi take charge.
- Things backfire in Prince’s face as Tariq plays it off that he doesn’t care about Momo. But, then, Tariq mentions that he plans on letting Amber die a slow, painful death that he wouldn’t be able to recognize her.
- Next, as he is about to pull the trigger, Bambi stops him and turns off the phone. We see Tariq relieved as he tries his best to play a big chess matchup.
- Finally, Prince and Bambi realize it is time to go to war.

Episode 8 is scheduled to release on Apple TV+ on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at 3:00 AM EST. Episode 8 is titled “Family Matters” and will have a run of 45 minutes.
