We are moving to the season finale of Welcome to Chippendales next week! Before we get there, a whole lot went down in this week’s episode, from a war between Nick (Murray Bartlet) and Somen (Kumail Nanjiani) over the touring Chippendales to Irene (Annaleigh Ashford) and Somen’s relationship hitting a rocky road and a whole lot more. Here is everything that went down in Season 1 Episode 7.
- The episode starts with the touring Chippendales traveling the country and making tons of money. Within the montage, we see Denise, Bradford, and Nick having the time of their lives.
- Then, we see Denise attempt to book a venue but quickly realizes that Somen already did. Of course, this leads to Nick freaking out and calling him out on it. Stubborn Somen thinks he can do whatever he wants.
- However, back at his office, his lawyer tells him that they have gotten an injunction to shut down any tours of his.
- Bradford confronts Nick about Denise and lets her do the tour alone. He also mentions he doesn’t want to make him choose, but he wants Nick in New York with him.
- Somen’s spiral out of control continues by letting far too many people into the club. Because of this, the fire marshall shuts him down. Shortly after, the city of LA forces him to shut the club down.
- While in Texas for the next stop of Chippendales, Nick confronts Denise to tell her he is heading to New York. It breaks her heart because it was supposed to be the two of them forever.
- In New York, Nick tries to call Denise, but she won’t answer his calls. Then, Bradford shows the big board that says Chippendales is heading to Europe. Nick is excited, the two share a passionate kiss, and Bradford heads to the bathroom.
- Shortly after this, a strange man heads into the office, and while Bradford uses the restroom, two gunshots go off. Bradford races out of the bathroom to find Nick covered in blood dead.
- When Somen gets home, Irene breaks the news to him. We see Somen act kind of weird and play it off.
- The following day, Denise arrives at Somen’s house to accuse him of murder. Irene storms outside to see what the ruckus is about. When they get back inside, she wants to call the cops, but Somen stops her. Next, we see her walk away but stop and ask him about 15 thousand that went missing and where it went.
- She puts two and two together and freaks out. She rushes off to start packing her bags, Somen tries to get her to stop but can’t.
- Finally, we see the FBI question Somen, and it doesn’t go well for him because after the meeting they think he is guilty.
Welcome to Chippendales Season 1 Episode 8 release date and time
The season finale is scheduled to release on Hulu on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2022, at 12 AM ET. Episode 8 is titled “Switzerland” and will have a run time of 36 minutes.
