We had a bit of a set-up episode of Echo 3 this week with some pieces moving, but the pace slowed down drastically up until the final moments. That said, they have us set up to go to WAR over the final two episodes. Here is everything that went down in Season 1 Episode 8.
- The episode beings with us seeing Amber. However, she has been tied up differently. Her arms are tied to a pole while she is forced to stand up.
- Momo returns home to Tariq. Shortly after arriving, he snaps at him for not doing more to rescue him. But Tariq quickly shuts him down and says he had to play the cards he did to get him out.
- Throughout the episode, we see Amber hallucinating. From seeing her childhood to when she was a kid, and Bambi was forced to kill their father, her dreams/daydreams are becoming more vivid.
- Maggie, Bambi, and Amber’s mom head down to hunt down Prince’s father, Eric. After getting ahold of him, she tells him he must do something to help the boys. Eric says Prince made his choice.
- Javy, Bambi’s fishing friend, is helping the guys do recon at the site. He informs them that he was told that Amber’s days are numbered.
- Amber finds out her days are numbered. Tomas tells her that it’s Monday and she will die on Saturday.
- While interrogating her again, the drugs aren’t working how he thought they would, making Tomas even madder.
- Mitch gets the guy’s Colombian military patches to use as an escape from the war. However, something fishy is going on with Mitch. Then, we see Prince kind of call him out for it.
- A truck full of men arrives where Bambi and Prince are, and we find out that Prince’s father sent them to help.
- Bambi and Prince deliver a speech to the squad about the mission. Then, we see them go over the plan with them as we prepare for war.
- Next, we see Tariq, Momo, and the family at a dinner together. Of course, like any other family dinner, there was some bickering. After dinner, Tarig and Momo are standing outside together, and out of nowhere, a car pulls up and shoots at them, and down goes Tariq.
- Finally, we hear Prince get a phone call saying that Tariq is out of the picture and it’s time for them to move.

Episode 9 is scheduled to release on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 26th, 2023, at 3:00 AM EST. Episode 9 is titled “Scorched Earth” and will have a runtime of 43 minutes.
