Willow is a 2022 sequel series to the 1988 Ron Howard dark fantasy film of the same name, which is something people might need reminding of since… well, it’s been a while. An unlikely choice for a revival, the series airs on Disney+ and is presumably an attempt at giving the streamer its very own rival to stuff like House of the Dragon on HBO and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Prime Video.
Here’s what happened in Willow Episode 7:
- Airk spends the entire episode bonding with his new friend Lili, who gradually reveals herself to be the Crone in disguise.
- Elora saves Kit from the amber liquid under the troll mine, and the group heads to the edge of the Shattered Sea.
- After a brief stop in a weird cabin and a battle with the Gales, the group ventures out across the Shattered Sea, which sends them half mad.
- Graydon discovers he has latent magical abilities that he can manifest through his flute.
- The Sea ends in a sheer cliff, and Kit persuades Elora to jump off together.
- They emerge in the Immemorial City, where they encounter Airk, having undergone something of a makeover.

Predictions
We don’t have an official title or synopsis for the next episode, but we can make some logical assumptions:
- The rest of the gang will surely jump off the cliff after Kit and Elora unless they find another way. Regardless, we need a big reunion.
- Boorman will find an excuse to use the Cuirass and the Lux Arcana.
- I think we’ll be teeing up a second season rather than building to a legitimate conclusion, so don’t expect a definitive ending.
So annoying that they give East Coast the middle finger. 3 am for East Coast? Why do they have to wait till West Coast hit’s 12 am? Why not just set it up so when East Coast hits 12 am that at 9pm it’s available for both the East and West?
