We discuss predictions for the Apple TV+ series Servant Season 4 Episode 4 and include the release date and where to watch online.

Servant is at its best when it leans into its supernatural horror elements, delivering bizarre yet brilliant entertainment in the process. In “Seance,” the series hits that sweet spot once again as the wacky new nurses attempt to channel some guidance into Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose), who is losing hope of ever walking again. Meanwhile, Leanne (Nell Tiger Free) believes the nurses are spies and Julian investigates these kind, old ladies further. It’s a great installment that allows Rupert Grint an opportunity to soar as Julian. Whilst the seance sequence provides ample tension in the final third. Here’s what happened in Servant Season 4 Episode 3:

  • The new nurses Bobbie and Bev introduce themselves to the household. Sean is happy to have more help around the house, but Leanne thinks they were sent by the cult. Julian does some research on the duo, but doesn’t find anything untoward.
  • The nurses quickly make themselves at home, tidying up the place and giving out advice. They even clean Leanne’s room, which infuriates the nanny. They continue to present Jericho with a cuddly toy, which Leanne keeps binning. In the end she calls out the nurses.
  • Dorothy asks the nurses to help her walk again. They try the usual exercises, but Dorothy is losing patience. She asks to stand and is elated when she manages it, with the help of the nurses and a pair of crutches. Then she wants to walk, but falls over on her first step forwards.
  • Sean wants to reconnect with Dorothy, so he cooks her some delicious food. Dorothy rejects his meals though.
  • While the nurses are assisting Dorothy, Julian investigates their living quarters and is disturbed to find a box full of sex toys.
  • The nurses talk with Sean, they are concerned by Dorothy’s setback and Leanne’s mistrust. Sean thinks the household is struggling, but won’t admit why. He bypasses telling them about Jericho and focuses on the loss of Dorothy’s mother instead.
  • The nurses orchestrate a seance, so Dorothy can communicate with her mother. The mother tells Dorothy that it is OK to accept support. Bobbie talks about Dorothy sleeping in her mother’s bed after a bad dream.
  • Leanne confronts the nurses, showing them her dagger. She rips Bobbie’s clothes and finds that her back contains no scars. Dorothy orders Leanne to go to her room.
  • Julian returns the knife and asks what Leanne would do if she found any scars. Leanne says she’d kill them.
  • Sean tries to talk with Dorothy again and offers her pancakes. Dorothy says their relationship has changed, but accepts the pancakes. Sean tells her that the nurses aren’t quitting.
  • Leanne or possibly Dorothy dreams of the house being haunted by a dark shadow. Dorothy wakes to find Leanne asleep on her bed.
