Netflix dropped the thrilling first five episodes of You Season 4, leaving fans thirsty for more. After faking his death, murdering his wife, and leaving their infant son behind, the endearing serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) didn’t just cross the pond into London but also found himself in the middle of an intriguing Agatha Christie-style murder mystery.
During the first half of the new season, we see the tables turned on Joe as he becomes the target of a deranged stalker killer taking out his wealthy friends while trying to frame him for the murders.
In the half-season finale, the best-selling author and Joe’s only friend in London, Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers), unmasks himself as the Eat the Rich killer. Rhys chains up Joe inside a dungeon and tries convincing him to frame and kill the aristocrat Roald (Ben Wiggins) for the murders.
After our anti-hero refuses, he sets the dungeon ablaze. Joe, being Joe, survives the fire, tells no one about Rhys, and vows to take down the future mayor of London all by himself. Season 4 is a wild ride with a definite tonal shift from Joe acting as the main villain to him becoming the de-facto hero of the season.
You Season 4 Episode 6 Release Date and Time
The first part of You Season 4 came out on the 9th of February 2023, and episode 6 (along with the rest of the season) is set to drop precisely one month later on the 9th of March at midnight Pacific Time.
You Season 4 Episode 6 Predictions
- We’re expecting episode 6 to lay the groundwork for the cat-and-mouse game between Joe and Rhys. After all, the killer is a very high-profile man with deep pockets and knowledge of Joe’s past sins, which makes taking him down a tad difficult. There’s also the small matter of finding someone to take the fall for the Eat the Rich murders. When Joe decided not to frame Roald, he left the door wide open for the killer to frame him, so he’ll have to devise a better plan before landing behind bars.
- While at the end of episode 5, Joe rejects Kate’s (Charlotte Ritchie) advances; it’s clear the story between them is far from over. He may be focused on Rhys, but he’ll have to come across her at one point too. We may also meet Kate’s billionaire dad in episode 6 and learn more about that toxic dynamic.
- Lady Pheobe ended her relationship with Adam after learning about his kink and deducing he felt beneath her on the social ladder. Yet, Adam’s finances are in a dire state, so he’s probably going to desperately try to get her (and her immense wealth) back.
