Viewers learned a lot on this week’s episode of Bungo Stray Dogs, getting more profound insight into Fyodor (voiced by Akira Ishida) and learning Dazai’s status. Although everything is still a mess for the Agency, more and more pieces are starting to come together to paint a picture of what is happening to them and how. Still, with Fyodor one step ahead, ready to sabotage all of their attempts to prove their innocence, it will be a challenge getting out of the predicament they’re stuck in. Hopefully, some of these old foes can be of help.
- To save the Agency members, Chuya uses his gravity manipulation gift to rain bullets on Saigiku and Tetcho. He tells them he’s only there because their bosses made a deal exchanging one of the Agency’s members for the Port Mafia.
- Tetcho’s sword bursts through the helicopter, stabbing Miyazawa in the chest. Kunikida jumps out and launches himself toward Tetcho before using his ability to turn a notebook page into a grenade, blowing them both up.
- Kyoka and Atsushi fall through the ceiling of the building they’ve been hiding. Wondering how they’ll get out of this situation, he remembers the warning Ranpo had received from Mushitaro. They set out to find him to prove the Agency’s innocence.
- Kyoka and Atsushi meet with Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald to use his Eyes of God I.D. system. Francis is already engaged in battle with the assassin, Nathaniel Hawthorne, who jumps from the window.
- Mori visits the Armed Detective Agency in his hideout and tells them Dazai was transferred to the Department of Security.
- Francis says Fyodor is imprisoned at Meursault, a special prison for the Gifted.
- A new cell appears in front of Fyodor. Inside is Dazai.
- Fyodor and Dazai question how they communicate with the outside world, realizing that whoever can figure out the other’s method first will have their friends terminate it from the outside.
- Francis asks to have Yosano use her gift to bring former guild member Margaret Mitchell out of her coma, as she is the only person capable of killing Nathaniel. Although Atsushi is hesitant to do so, he reluctantly agrees.
- Yosano attacks Mori and accuses him of only helping because he wants her in the Port Mafia. She tells him Yukichi would never allow that, but Mori lies and tells her that Yukichi would be willing to transfer her.
- Suddenly, Francis calls Mori, telling him he’s sent Atsushi his way so they can use Yosano’s ability.
- Not only is Mori surprised by the fact that Francis found the hideout, but he concludes that if Francis is working with the Armed Detective Agency over the Hunting Dogs, this could be a trap.

Predictions
While I was right in assuming the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia would strike up a deal, I never imagined it would be for a member, especially not Yosano. I doubt Yukichi will allow that to happen, but with all the distractions and Mori’s lies, there’s no telling how it will all play out in the future. First things first, the Agency still has to prove its innocence.
- We did not see Ranpo in this episode, but after the doctored video of him stabbing Taneda gets out, the police and Taneda’s people are sure to be all over him. I imagine we’ll see him on the run or hiding out next episode, with the Agency members searching for him.
- No one knows Kunikida’s status yet, but I doubt he is dead. If anything, I expect to find out he was taken into custody by the Hunting Dogs and likely arrested.
