This series caught fans’ eyes long before it even premiered, promising a fun, found family anime filled with cute antics and plenty of action. So far, it’s delivered on all of its promises. This anime follows Kazuki and Rei, two professional assassins who have just taken on their most complicated assignment yet: raising the young daughter of one of their former targets. Fans of slice-of-life comedies and action fans will enjoy watching this group navigate family life together.

9. The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady
Almost all anime fans love a good isekai series; this year has been full of them! However, none are quite as interesting as The Magical Revolution. The series follows a young princess named Anisphia. After remembering her previous life and love of magic, she dedicates herself to magic research while also helping her almost sister-in-law restore her name.

8. The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten
No good list is complete without at least one romantic, and this one is worth it! After helping out Mahiru Shiina, a girl considerably out of Amane Fujimiya’s league, she decides she wants to return the favor, especially after seeing how bad he is at taking care of himself. Although predictable at times, it’s still a sweet series that reminds viewers that often helping others can be more fulfilling than only looking out for yourself.

7. To Your Eternity Season 2
Season one of this supernatural fantasy drama was as heart-wrenching as it was entertaining and beautiful. Still, after experiencing more than enough tragedy, Fushi decides to seclude himself away to fight his enemies, and who can blame him? Of course, when his enemies begin attacking nearby settlements, Fushi is forced to retaliate. One of the best parts of this series has always been the friends and connections Fushi makes along the way, and season two continues to provide plenty of new characters to enjoy.

6. Welcome to Demon school! Iruma-kun Season 3
Just when the students of the misfit class thought they were going to catch a break, they returned to school only to find out that the entire class needed to be promoted in rank by the start of their second year. Although fans have complained that the school festival arc lingers a bit, the second half of the season is worth the wait, picking up the place and making things far more interesting.

5. Blue Lock
This highly anticipated newcomer has blown fans out of the water in everything from storytelling to animation. Its unique take on soccer is what sets this series apart from other popular sports anime. In it, high schooler soccer player Yoichi Isagi is selected to participate in the Blue Lock program in hopes of becoming Japan’s greatest striker. There’s a catch, however – get eliminated from the program, and you forfeit your chances of ever playing for Japan’s national team. If that sounds intense, it’s because it is.

4. My Hero Academia Season 6
My Hero Academia has been a staple in the anime community for the last few years. This season picks up right where five left off, launching fans into the biggest wars these students have ever faced. If you thought the previous battles were crazy, this season will have you on the edge of your seat with each fight and several even crazier reveals that are sure to surprise you!

3. Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4
Every season, the drama and mysteries in Bungo Stray Dogs only get more intense. This time, viewers look deeper into Ranpo’s backstory as he tries to save the Armed Detective Agency from sabotage and destruction at the hands of the Decay of Angels. No wonder fans praise it, as it has been one of the best seasons yet.

2. One Piece
This series follows a young pirate named Luffy on his quest to find a treasure left behind by the infamous “Pirate King.” It’s funny, action-filled, and has excellent voice-acting performances. With over 1000 episodes, this is easily one of the longest-running animes ever, and some people would argue it’s even the greatest ever. That means not only is there plenty to catch up on, but yours sure to enjoy the journey as well.

1. Vinland Saga Season 2
Set several years after the events of season one, this sequel continues to follow Thorfinn’s journey. Without revenge as his primary motivation, his life has changed drastically since viewers last saw him. He’s living as an enslaved person on a farm, trying to make the best of his new situation, but it’s clear that the old warrior fans know and love is still there, ready to show off his skills whenever the chance arises.
