There is nothing like cuddling up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a good horror movie, and in terms of horror streaming services, Shudder is at the top of the pack. Owned and operated by AMC Networks, Shudder was created in 2015 and has slowly and steadily garnered a well-rounded collection of old horror, new horror, and Shudder originals since its inception.

Sorry About the Demon (2023)
A family is dealing with a demon wanting to possess their youngest daughter, but they don’t want to sell the house or move because they like the place, and moving would be too much trouble. So instead, they offer the demon a trade–they’ll sacrifice it if it leaves their daughter alone. The family “sells” the house to a young man, hoping the demon will possess him instead. The young man has been dumped, his job is going nowhere, and his life is stagnant. So what’s worse than all of that? Finding out that the house you “bought” to try and start your life anew is haunted and possessed by demons.
I know what you will say: “Another movie about demonic possession?” But this Sorry About the Demon stands out for its quirky comedic elements–I mean, come on, how often do demons write messages of evil and doom on top of delicious, delicious cake?
