Ted Lasso returns for its third and rumored final season, filled with love and levity. The season starts with the setup of AFC Richmond being picked to finish last in the Premier League. Understandably, teams elevated from the English Football League are statistically most commonly regulated back to the EFL the following season.

- Rebecca’s ex-husband, Rupert, now owns West Ham United. This is why Rebecca wants to stay in the Premier League, so Rupert won’t hold it over her.
- We find out Rupert has hired Nate to manage West Ham. Nate holds a press conference winning over people by being mean and cruel to the press and his former boss, Ted.
- Ted holds a press conference to address Nate’s comments and wins over the press and the people with his folksy, self-deprecating charm.
- Roy and Keeley break up because they grew apart with their new full-time roles.

Season 3 Episode 2 will be released on Apple TV+ on March 22nd, 2023, at midnight PT. Episode 2 is titled “(I Don’t Want to Go) Chelsea” and will run for 48 minutes.

Predictions
- The first prediction would be to guess how Jake is. From the show, it appears Ted is more concerned about a male friend with his ex-wife than if he knows the identity of Jake. Who could it be? Our guess is this is someone Ted met and not someone from his inner circle in the United States.
- I cannot picture Roy and Keeley not ending up together. In fact, I can’t stand for Roy and Keeley not being together! I may be showing my bias, but I think we have to have good things in life, which means Roley must get back together.
- This being the final season, I have to think AFC Richmond will stay in the Premier League and even challenge for the total. That probably means a showdown with Nate and West Ham United.
- There wasn’t a lot of mention of Rebecca and Sam. I don’t see them getting back together this season, especially since the fans want Rebecca and Ted together.
